Say NO to Sleeping Pills

So last night at 1:30am I couldnt fall back asleep so I decided to take one of my sleeping pills. I had to be up at 6:30am but I figured the alarm would wake me because last time I took it it only lasted four hours. Apparently, I slept right through the alarm and didn't wake up until 1pm in the afternoon! I had missed all of my mandatory classes that morning and the campus tour. I bused into town found the MBS office and asked for help. Luckily, Louise (the woman that had been helping me all summer) recognized me from my photo and was much help.

The Business School had changed my classes all around which is very fusterating but just now I think I've got it figured out (a whole new schedule). Things really do hit the fan once you arrive!

Tonight they are sending an internet representative to my dorm to work on my internet. I sure hope they can fix it because its been really hard not to see my family, friends or Aaron.

Here in Manchester they spend a lot of time promoting night life. I didn't know that it was considered the best place to be in the UK if you are between the ages of 18 and 30. Like imagine being outside of the Hub and being handed multiple flyers on a bunch of stuff you don't care about. Its like that for clubs/bars only like 100 times worse. Its kind of annoying because when I say 'no thank you' they notice my american accent and sometimes say kind of rude things. Here they have a really big problem with litering so all those flyers end up all over the city ground. For the Big Rock Club there was a topless double decker that had people and balloons and banners all over that went back and forward on Oxford Road just yelling and promoting there club. ...just all very interesting.

Today I went to Barclays bank to see if I could figure out why all the ATMs were not working for me. They spent a lot of time working on it and said I was just going to have to call my bank back home..the number they gave me for that didnt work. But I tried one more time at an ATM and SURPRISE it decided to work!!!! So now I have cash which is nice because its only 1% if you use the ATM and 3% if you use your visa card.

Tomorrow's Schedule:
9-10am Get my BSchool Swipe Card
11am Meet with Louise about taking a non-business class
12:30-1:45 Lecture
2:00pm Tour of Campus

*This weekend I am going to try and get some people together to go to London.
